Wicked Cool

This is a little 3x3 card that I made using the Wicked Cool stamp set #120600.

My friend and downline Darnell let me borrow this set.  I don't think she has even had a chance to use it.  I have made a few things with it and she waits patiently while I play with her stamp set!!

Christmas Gift Box

One of my hostess clubs made this box last Saturday.  We  used the  Bitty box die from Sizzix #115967.  This box has become on of my favorite boxes to make.  I have made several of them using different themes, like birthday, Halloween and this one Christmas.  They are cute enough to give as gifts or favors, but not too small to put small pieces of candy in.  Sometimes boxes are so big that it takes alot of candy.  This box to me, is just a perfect size!!

Here is another view of the box.  I also used the Candy Cane paper from our new Holiday Mini Catalog.  This new mini is the best!!  You will want everything in it.  I had to contain myself and only buy a few things....this month!!  I know I will be buying more!!
Here is one more view of the box opened.  Love the die because it cuts and scores this box.  It is so simple to make and takes very little glue to put it together.

Spooky Candy Holder

Here's a cute little candy holder that I cased from Kimberly's blogI did not have all the accessories that she used, so I kind of did my own thing.  I used the Wicked Cool stamp set.  For the background paper I used Cajun Craze and the circle from Pick a Petal and stamped with stazon.

Here's a side view.  You can place a piece of candy inside, I had just run out of candy.  I used the the two tags sizzix die #115954.

Birthday card

Here is a cute birthday card that I made.  I used the circle from Pick a Petal to make the dots and the large scallop circle from the Sizzix die to go around the circle that is from the Sizzix die also.  The candles are just strips of DSP paper and the flame is from the Two Step Bird Extra Large Punch.  This card also uses 1/2" Stiched Poly Ribbon in Poppy Parade and the Stamp set Birthday Bliss.  I really had fun making this whimsical card.

Elements of Style

This is a cute little 3x3 card that I made using Basic black, Rose Red and Very Vanilla cardstock.  I used the Beautiful Butterflies bigz die from Sizzix #114507 and stamped the Elements of style on the butterfly and then SU markers to color it in.  I also used the Elements of Style Stamp set # 120045 around the card and the saying from that set.  I added Basic Black 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon # 115615 on the side.  I also used the color spritzer tool #107066 to add the little dots...since we no longer have itty bittys we have to use something and this tool is perfect for adding just what you need to fill in those empty spaces!!

Sorry I havent' posted, I've been away.

It's been a while since I posted last.  We took our daughter to college.  It was a long trip.

But I am back!!  Here is a card that I made at a party recently.  I think someone from SU home office made it and I cased and just changed the colors.

We will be making this card at our next hostess club for the Stampin' Queens (this Saturday, Sept 4) as long as Hurricane Earl does not come our way.

On Board Briefcase Tote

This is a little tote I made for a friend's birthday.  I just used the On Board Briefcase #118766 from the summer mini catalog and glued one of the designer series paper from the Greenhouse Gala #117167 paper from our 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog.  Then I cased one of Becky Robert's little owl books (can you tell I love her blog???) and attached that to the tote.  I put a little box in the middle of the two pieces of the on board briefcase and put some cards inside.  I thought it made a cute little gift.

Another Becky Robert's purse

I just love this little purse pattern that I purchased from Becky Robert's (Inking Idaho) Blog.  I have made several of these purses as gifts and everyone has enjoyed them.  This one is my favorite so far.  I used Daffodil Delight and Basic Black Cardstock.  I stamped with the Level 2 hostess set from the summer mini catalog called Punched Posies.  I used a Filigree Brad and Circle Fire Rhinestone brad for the closure.
