Late Valentine Project

This is one of the projects that we made at our Hostess Club back in January.  I know it is late, but I was going through some pictures and found it and realized I never posted this.  You can make it for any holiday really. 

It is using the Two Tag Die.  I have used that die lately for most of the club projects.  It is so easy and versatile.  I just used a piece of 3 x 6 1/4" piece of Blushing Bride paper.  I folded the BB paper in half and placed it just above the cut on the die. That way it would not cut the bottom and I could keep it folded for a pocket like piece to place a piece of candy in. 

Another Birthday Gift

I had another birthday celebration to go to last week.  This is the gift that I made for Michelle. 

It is a key fob made from our Stampin' Up! Material Spice Cake.  I thought loop was too big, so I cut it down some and then after it was cut realized it was supposed to go around your wrist.  I told her I owe her another one done right!!  Sorry Michelle for the mistake. Hope I can make another one before we see each other again.  I also used Chocolate Chip ribbon and some hardware I bought at a sewing store.

I used the Everday Enchantment DSP #126154 from Stampin' Up!
Sale-a-bration 12x12 paper FREE w/a $50 order.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper.  I also used the tip of the Petite Pennants Builder Punch #122361  16.95 and the "wish big" from the Pennant Parade Stamp Set #122742 (clear) $16.95.  Other items used were the candles from the Cupcake Builder punch #121807 and some Calpyso Coral Baker's Twine #125573.   I loved how this card turned out.  It was 3x3 card.  Yes, all that fit on a 3x3 card!!

This was the basket that I made to put the gift inside.

It is a cute little basket that I saw made at Leadership in San Antonio.  It is made from a 6x6 piece of paper, so it is not very big. You can go to this blog for a tutorial.

Birthday Gift

I made this rose bouquet for my friend, Sherry's birthday.  She LOVES yellow and blue.  So I made the roses out of Daffodil Delight and put a Marina Mist 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon bow around the small little pot I purchased at Ikea years ago.  I bought the tutuorial from Diary of Two Crafty Girls blog. 

 

I liked how they turned out and she was very happy with them.

Cupcake Button Magnet

I made this cute little cupcake magnet (using the cupcake punch) for my hostess club's door prize.  I had gotten some of those BIG buttons that were in the Holiday mini last year.  Well, I always have big plans for everything I buy and then I just run out of time.  So, these were sitting around and I decided to make them into magnets. 

How you ask?   Simple...I just added a magnet strip on the bag of the button.  Just like this:

Stinkin' Cute

Isn't he just stinkin' cute!!  I saw him on this blog and knew I just had to case him.  It holds a hershey nugget inside. 

We made him at my downline meeting this month. 

Sorry, he is a little blurry.  I have a new camera and am trying hard to learn how to use it.
