I finally made one of these tea bag holders. I had been wanting to make one for awhile and finally did. I had a class on this and two other projects, which forced me to make one. I love it and it makes a great gift.
Here is a side view of the box. I found the tutorial on this blog.

Had a downline meeting last night. My downline, Sherry Collett, made this Cascading Card to share with the group.
This is my Cascading Card. I made it really quick because I forgot I was suppose to make a card to share too!! A little messy, but I it worked for sharing!!
I found the tutorial on this blog.

Spring time Owl
I just love this little owl! I made him for Spring Time! I got the idea and tutorial from this website. I made mine just a bit smaller, but same idea. It fit the mini Kit Kat bars just perfect!!
Had my downline meeting tonight and this was one of the many doorprizes, but it was the only one I took a picture of. I hate when I do that. I make the prizes and forget to take the pictures!!

Girls Vacation
Sorry I have been MIA. Went away for a week with my peeps!! This was our second year to do this!! We had a week long stamping and scrapbooking venture! Tons of stamping, scrapping, talking, laughing, eating, drinking, staying up late, waking up late, and well just good old plain fun with my downline!!
Here are just a few of the pictures that I can share!
This is the resort we stayed at. There were a total of 6 of us that went. Some were able to stay the whole week and others for just a few days. Still we all had a great time and enjoyed our time together!
Our place. We had 4 bedrooms. It was 2 rooms right next to each other. One stayed nice and clean and this one was where it all went down!! I got this before picture, but did not take an after. Like after we started having fun with stamping! We had 3 tables and tons of stuff! It's ok...who needs pictures?? We will always remember this weekend! Maybe Toni has a few pictures she will share???
This was Anne's shirt! Perfect for our week!! We made many great memories and had such a good time!! Maybe that is why we did not take more pictures!
Or maybe this is why we did not take more pictures! Might have to delete this one...so look quick!!
First night!! Ok, so we did not do alot of stamping the first night. Everyone got there between 4pm-6pm. It was Friday night. We ate, drank and played Mexican Train. I was hooked (Thanks Toni!!)and I wanted to play til I won! Well ,or until Anne left cuz she had such low numbers. We all knew she was throwing her dominoes on the floor so she could win! LOL!!
We did make a project that night, but again, I did not even take a picture of it. It was a cute little punch art duck. It was an easy project for our first night. We will not talk about the rest of the weekend...I'll just say we had FUN!!
Early Monday morning we loaded up and left to DC to go to the Container Store, Ikea, and visit Darnell (one of my downline that had to move to DC) and then shop for hours at Hobby Lobby in Fredericksburg. Where's Toni??
There she is ...all the way in the back!!
This was the trunk BEFORE our shopping excursion.
Here's the group at a store in the DC area. Dottie, Pattie, Darnell, Toni, Sherry and Me!! Again, alot of fun and it was great to see Darnell and catch up. Just not enough time.
And this is what the trunk looked light when we got back!!
Not bad for 4 girls shopping all day. Our husbands would be so proud of us. We saved so much money!! HaHa!
Ok Girls, start saving your vacation time!! I'm thinking same time frame, same place next year!

Bunny in the Grass
Saw a cute little bunny on someone's website and it was made with a die of some sort, but I knew it could easily be made with our punches. So I tried and here is what I came up with.
Very easy to make. I used 1 3/4 circle punch for the body, extra large oval for the face, the fancy flower punch for the ears - I had to punch two and cut the ears out. The eyes & clouds are from the cupcake punch and the nose if the smallest heart from the Heart to Heart punch. The grass is the Adorning Accent Edgelit Die. Enjoy!

Cute litte Chick
My downline made this cute little chick treat bag at my downline meeting last week. It is really easy to make.
Cut a piece of cardstock (I used daffodil delight) to 3 1/4 x 11.
Score on the long side at 2", 5 3/4" & 7 1/4'
**Please note the measurements are correct now. They were originally posted with incorrect measurements!**
Make the 2" flap round. I traced a small round plate and hand cut it. I glued the "hair" to the back of the treat holder. I used the Blossom Bouqet Triple Layer Punch. I moved the little bar over to the last notch. The feet are made from the Blossom Punch. I used the banner punch for the beak and the owl punch for the eyes.
Here are some pictures to hopefully help you understand what I used and how I scored the cardstock.
These are the punches I used. The arrows are pointing to the the pieces I used. I did use the last one on the middle punch. I also used the blossom punch, but it is not pictured.
These are the pieces that I punched.
This is how I cut each piece to make the parts for the chick. I used the arrows to point to the pieces I used from banner punch and the Triple Layer Punch. You can get two pieces out of the triple layer punch and more feet from the Blossom Punch if you want.
I cut a piece of cardstock to 3 1/4 x 11. Score this on the long side at 2, 5 3/4 and 7 1/4. **Please note the measurements in the picture are incorrect, the measurements mentioned here are correct now** Here is a picture just to show you how to score the cardstock. Sorry it is not close enough to see, but I think if you click on the picture it should make it bigger. It is simple and am sure you have made many of these before and did not even need this picture.
This is what the top looks like. I just took a small plate and traced around it to make straight edge curved and then cut it out.
I put some jelly beans in our little 3x5 cellophane bags. Stapled it shut and added a strip of adhsive to the top and placed it onto the inside of the treat holder.
Here is a side view of the chick. I put the nose on w/a dimensional and used that to keep it shut. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
Happy Stamping!!
