Stamp Camp

My downline and I had a Stamp Camp during Covention time. It was a lot of work, but everyone enjoyed it and made it worth all the time and effort of the putting one together.

  Thanks to my wonderful downline for working so hard helping me make this a success!!  Did you notice our T-shirts??  Toni made them for us.  She called SU and they said she could do that as long as the logo was on the shirt.  It is on the cuff of our sleeve.  They were made with MDS.  She is so talented!

This was one of our boards displaying cards that everyone had made.  Some were cased from other great Demonstrators adn some were original ideas.

Sorry I have not posted!

Sorry to all my blog readers that I have not posted for quite a while!!  I have had a lot going on.  I was busy around here getting ready for a stamp camp in July and then my mom got sick. 

I went home to Texas to spend some time with her.  The doctors sent her home with hospice care.  I got there on a Sunday and she passed away early Wed morning.  I am glad I got to spend her last few days with her, but it was tough watching her die. 

After the funeral we came back home, but I had alot going on here.  My downline and I were getting ready for a huge camp...which by the way was a complete success!

There has been alot going on with my family and family ALWAYS comes first over stamping and blogging.  

Then just when I thought things would be back to normal and I would be home for awhile,  my daughter had a car accident on Saturday.  Thank God, she is ok.  Minor burns from the air bags deploying and sore from the accident, but she did not get hurt and neither did the other driver.  BUT her car is probably totaled.  The adjusters will let us know in a day or two.  Unfortunately, we live in VA and she lives in TX. So, now we are trying to find a vehicle for her and get it to her.  Looks like another road trip for us.

So, every time I think I will be getting back to my stamping and  blogging, something seems to come up.  I will try posting a few pics for yall.  I hope to have some up soon.

Another Cascade Card

Made a card for a friend's daughter that had a baby girl.   I made it as a cascade card because I am loving this type of card right now.  I was not thrilled with the color combination, but it matched her decor and invite. 

A view of the card opened a little.  There is a gift card with the last set of owls.  I wish I would have kept the baby shower invite because I just cased it for my card.  Looks just like her owls.

Calling all Stampers - New Hostess Clubs Forming!

Starting a new round for Hostess Clubs.  I have one club filled and one almost filled.  If you are interested in joing our Club, please email me at jnrsjones@cox.net or leave a message here.  

We meet once a month and have a  GREAT time!!  This is a year long commitment.   There is a $25.00 min before s/h and tax each month.  We start clubs in June.

You can have your party at my house.  You bring your snacks, food, drinks, etc when it is your month.  We make 3 projects if it is at my house.  If you want to have it at your house, then we make 2 projects.

I made this card for a group that I am in.  I love how it came out.  This paper is about to retire and I had not used it, so I decided to pull it out and use it before it retired.

Cute fabric basket

Here is a fabric basket that my downline, Patty Shipley, made.  She is just A-Mazing!!  All my downline are amazing!!!  I should be their downline.  They are all so talented and do so well!!

I  think I have posted a card very similar, but I like these colors much better. 

Here is a close up of the flower.  I used the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets #120805 $14.95 for 12 sheets.  Really a great deal!!

See all that Dazzling Diamonds on the flower?  It's really easy to do and makes the card just pop.  Here's the deets:  Stamp your image on whisper white (I used the Mixed Bunch set).  Then cut a piece of the Multipurpose Adhesive and place it directly on top of the stamped image.  Then punch it out.  Burnish the edges and then peel off the adhesive and sprinkle dazzling diamonds on top.  The dazzling Diamonds will stick to the image and not fall off.  It's A-Mazing!!!  You should really try it.  I got the idea from someone that demonstrated at Regionals in San Antonio.  Sorry do not know her name, but it is a GREAT idea!!

Sunshine Package

This is the Sunshine package I sent my daughter, Sarah.  She was having a bad day at college and decided to send her this package.  She got it a few days after her bad day, but she still appreciated it!!
