This is what my husband sent to me while we were at convention in Utah. It was for our 22nd Anniversary. My roommates and I shared them. They were delicious!!

Bridal Veil Falls

After the experience at The Great Salt Lake the day before this was a wonderful experience. We went to Provo, Utah to see Bridal Veil Falls. What a gorgeous place. The water was extremely cold, but it was beautiful.

We made it to the Great Salt Lake, but we were really dissappointed. First we had to walk what seemed like miles through hot sand. Then as we got closer we started seeing all these flies and as we got right to the water it was like going through a curtain of black flies. I wish I would of taken pictures of them. Someone left shoes on the sand and they were covered w/thousands of black flies, so much that the shoes looked black. Darnell (pictured above) did not want to get in the water cuz she had to go through the flies, but I said how can you come all this way and NOT do get in, so she did.

Here we are outside our resort in Park City, Utah. We stayed about 30 miles from convention, but we loved it!! Definately go and rent a car and get around. It is a beautiful place, but if you just go to convention you miss so much!!
