Birthday Trifold Card

This is the front of the birthday tri-fold card that I made.  I used the same pattern that I had in my vintage rose tri-fold card and made it into a FUN birthday card.  I do not have a pattern for this, well I do but I gave a class on it and my customers paid for the class and it is not fair to give the pattern for free after my customers have paid.  I am trying to make a tutorial to sell, but being that I am not computer savvy, I don't know if that will happen.  I will post an update if I do get one made.

This is the inside of the Tri-fold Card.  I just love Tess!!  I made a different Birthday card using these same colors and Tess on this card.  This was just a sample showing the versatility of the Tri-fold Card that I made.  Tomorrow I post another one that I made.

Sympathy Card

I made this card using a Sale-a-bration set and a set out of the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog.  I know that Sale-a-bration will be over soon, but if you would like to receive a FREE stamp set before April 1, contact me to find out how!!

The Thanks for Caring stamp set (Occasions Mini Catalog)looks like it fits right in that Bliss stamp set (sale-a-bration).  The little pearls just add that special touch.  This was simple yet elegant card.

Birthday Wishes

This was another card we made our last club meeting.  It is using some of the Sale-a-bration designer series paper as well as one of the stamp sets.  I love this little cupcake.  It is a punch!!  It's called Build a Cupcake Punch and is in the Occasions mini catalog.

If you would like to order this or any Stampin' Up! merchandise, just contact me and I will be happy to help you!

Petal Cone Die

We made this cute little candy holder out of the petal cone die at our last club meeting.  I found these cute little Easter Bunny candies at the Dollar Store.  He looks like he is just peeking out of the top.  I think he looks adorable and would make a cute little gift for any child.

Congratulations Alice!!

One of my customers, Alice Seaman, made this card.  I know she cased it from someone and she displayed it at her Woman's Club.  They get to show things they have made or cased.

She won a blue ribbon!! She is such a sweet talented lady.  She tries to come to club every month and is always making everything we make and giving as gifts!! She has made boxes, cards, and gifts for several of her friends.  Her friends must love her!!

She made about 50 boxes as wedding favors for her grandson's wedding in December.  I wish I would have taken a picture of them.  They were very nice.

I should of taken a picture of Alice with this card.  Sorry Alice, next time!

New Vintage Shadow Box

Ok, so I remade these samples and they are using all SU product.  If you go to this post I tell you where I got the rose tutorial from.

These pictures are much better.  Lighting was better.  This one is made in Rose Red and uses Soft Suede cardstock too.  I really like the way it turned out.  I am giving a class on these this weekend.

Here is the Baja Blue one.  I really enjoyed making these and even have another one to post that does not look anything like these.  I will try and post that one tomorrow.

Rose Vintage Shadow Box Card #2

This is just like the one I made before just in a different color.  Again, I cannot say how much I have enjoyed making this flower.  This was also a birthday gift that I made last week.  Already gave them to the birthday girls, so I can now publish the picture.

This is a picture of it opened.  I added some extra little touches to it.  The beveled window pane in the center can be used as a necklace.  I gave her some extra ribbon so she can wear it or just keep it in the shadow box area.  I really liked how they turned out.

I just made a few more and used all SU supplies and will add those later.  I think the more I make the better they get, but that is just me.  I do not have a tutorial for sale, but am offering classes on this.  If you are interested contact me at: jnrjones@cox.net and I will give you the details.

These are the panels for the card, which is the inside of the card.

Slider Tier Birthday Card

I found this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers website.  It looked difficult and I had a few problems, but maybe I had just stayed up too late and it took me a little longer to get it right

I had several birthdays to celebrate this week, so I had several gifts to make.  This was one of the cards that I made to give as a birthday card.

I used several different Stampin' Up! birthday stamp sets and some of the quick accents to make this card.

Here is a picture of it opened.  I had not finished it when I took the picture, but I used some candles for the top that were non SU, so I opted not to take a picture to show them.  I then added a tag to the candles that said Happy Birthday and the card was complete.

Easter Bouquet

I made this Easter Bouquet while on a girls week getaway.  I like the bright spring colors.  I used some candy to put between the punches.  I also used skewers and then placed the skewers into a small pot that I had put Styrofoam in.  Yellow shredded paper was used to cover the green Styrofoam.

Here is another picture so you can view the whole project.

Here is a close up of "Tess" on the Happy Easter sign.

Noteboard

Can you tell I'm really liking these roses made with the owl punch?  I found the tutorial on Valita's website.  You can view her tutorial hereShe is a very talented lady.

I made this clipboard as a birthday gift.  I used the Springtime Vintage paper from Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used  Mod Podge to glue the paper on and then added more Mod Podge to the top to seal it. I had post it notes with the butterfly and added that to the top and some cork board to the middle.  The I added 3 roses made with Rose Red cardstock.  Quick and Easy!

Here is a close up picture of the roses.
Each rose comes out different.  Well I guess I have not perfected them so they all come out the same, but I still like them!

Birthday Card/Gift

I went to a birthday party and this was the gift that I gave one of the girls.  I made the rose out of the owl punch.  Yes, I said the owl punch! I went to this website and there is a wonderful video tutorial on how to make this flower.

This is the inside of the card.  I saw a card very similar in a craft magazine, but it used a die and I did not have it.  So I figured out how to make the card and then was stumped (not unusual for me) on how to make the center so it had a 3D effect.  My friend and downline, Sherry, told me how to do it.  Well me being a visual learner, could not understand, so she had to make the pleats to show me and then I got it!!  I love how this card turned out.  I hope the birthday girl did too!!

In the middle frame, I made a necklace using the medium beveled windowpanes.  I did mess up on attaching it to the card.  I meant to used something so it could be taken off, but I was anxious to finish it, so it is glued in and was not suppose to be.  She will have to tear it to get it out if she wants to wear the necklace.

On the last panel I wanted a script Happy Birthday, but could not find a current one that I liked, so I just wrote Happy Birthday.  I did it after I took the picture, but that is why there is so much room under the "just for you" stamped image.

Golf Birthday Card

My upline, Colleen Magness, made this card at one of our card swaps.  I thought it was such a great Man card that my club is going to make this one too!!  Thought we were going to make it today, but we ran out of time..so next month!!!  Yea, already cut and ready.  One less thing to do for next month club!!

The technique is spotlighting for the stamp.  It looks like I just used markers to make it, but we actually spotlighted it with circles.  Cool huh?!!

This card uses the stamp On the Green which is a FREE sale-a-bration stamp this month!!  If you want to know how you can earn this stamp for FREE just send me an email and I will be happy to help you!

Easter Blossom Card

I received a card very similar to this at Leadership.  I liked it so much I decided to recreate it.  The oval center was a little tricky.  You use the oval die and cut the medium oval out and then use that as a pattern onto your top note.  Once it  is drawn on the top note (back side) you use the 1 3/8" punch to punch the top and bottom and then use your scissors to cut out the rest.

My club made this card today and really liked it.  You cannot tell, but there is dazzling diamonds on the cherry blossoms.  It really is prettier IRL.
