Made a larger scarecrow from the top note die for a card. Then I thought I could make a smaller one from a punch. So, I tried it and sure enough here he is. I think he is cute. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving - A Day Late
Made this cute little turkey treat box from some Stampin' Up! punches. Meant to post this, but I'm away from home and I forgot with all the Holiday happenings.
I had a great Thanksgiving with family. I am thankful for all my family and friends. I am also very thankful for my wonderful husband and children.
Hope yall all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

Snow Flurry Snowflake
Another card that I cased from Pinterest. I thought I had pinned it to give the person credit, but I guess I did not. I even went back and looked on Stampin' Connection (SU demonstrator only website) and it was not there either or at least not under Snow Flurry. Sorry, if someone knows who the creator is, I will be happy to give them credit. Like I said it was cased, not my idea, but I loved the simplicity of it and thought it would be a quick card to make for my card class.

Scentsational Candy Cane Card
Here is a card that we are making in a card class that I am having this weekend for a group of girls. It was inspired by many cards I saw on Pinterest. I used the candy cane from the Holiday Collection Framelit Dies. Then I used a piece of the Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper. I also used Mixed Medley (hostess stamp set) and lastly the sentiment is from Greetings of the Season stamp set both from Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. I used Whisper White & Cherry Cobbler cardstock as well as Cherry Cobbler ink!

Last Post of Cards By Cathy
Last card by Cathy. I think I could have a class on all these cards, but since I do not own the stamp set yet, guess it will not happen. Plus I am getting ready to leave out of town once again.
For someone who does not like to fly, I have taken more flights this year than I probably have in the last 5 years. I am one of those people that has to be medicated to fly. It's not that I fear we are going to crash or anything, it's that I am clausterphobic and once that door shuts, I feel so closed in. I know I can't just get out when I want, so a nice little pill helps me, but I still do not enjoy it! Wish me luck!

More Christmas Lodge Cards
I like how on the front of this card (top picture) that she used dazzling diamonds aound the tree so that it looks like tinsel. I also like how on each card she stamped the inside of the card and made it just as gorgeous as the front of the cards. Great job Cathy!

Another Christmas Lodge Card
This is another card made by Cathy Stout. Though it does not show up great in this picture, she used dazzling diamonds on all the white part of the lodge. It is gorgeous in real life

Christmas Lodge Card
Here is a card that Cathy Stout, one of my new downline, made. I think she did a great job! She used the stamp set Christmas Lodge #123769 (clear) $25.95 that is in the Stampin' Up! Main Catalog. After seeing all her cards, I know I just HAVE to buy this stamp set. I really never have even looked at this stamp set. It just was not my style, but all her cards have inspired me. So, I guess that stamp set will be on my next order!
This is the inside of the card. She made several cards and let me take pictures of them so I could post on my blog. Thanks Cat!! I plan on posting them over the next few days.

Last Swap Card
This card was made by Melissa. Sorry the lighting was not right, but it is such a cute card. I love how she made the bow. It's a little hard to tell you how to do it, so here are a few sites you can go to and learn how to make some paper bows. Let me tell you that this is NOT how she made her bows, but could not fine a link for one like this one.
Here is one site:
This site has a bow that is more like the one on this card, but it is a little bigger.
Hope this helps! Happy Stamping!

Lorrie's card
This was Lorrie's card. I love how she made the big leaf look so textured by tearing the paper apart. Not sure what this technique is called, but we used the bone folder to break the paper fibers. Then we tore the one leaf into 2 and used the rough side. We applied ink to it, which gave it even more dimension. I chose not to put a sentiment on it because I already have a few Thanksgiving cards. I figure when I need a fall card, I will add the sentiment. Lots of texture on this card!

Gingerbread Man Treat Holder
This is a 3D project I made with my Hostess Club last month. It is so cute. It holds a fun size candy bar. Here are the dimensions. Hope it makes sense. Take a piece of 3"x4" cardstock and score it 3/4" all the way around. Make a slit on the score line at each corner so that it will make into a box. That is the piece that will hold the candy. For the outer part, you will take a piece of 2 3/4 "x 8" piece and score it at 3 1/4" and at 4 3/4". Take your box and glue inside the outer part and then decorate. I used a piece of 2 1/2 x 3 piece of DSP and the gingerbread man from Scentsational Season. I also put two little holes at the top for the bow and to hold the box together. I know this may be hard to figure out, but I do not know how to put a diagram on here. I guess i can try to make one and take a picture of it. Then it might help you a little more.
Here is a side view of the box. Might make it a little easier to understand the dimensions. I know someone must have come up with the idea, but not sure who? I rec'd one at a swap and she did not say whose idea it was. If someone knows, I would be happy to give that person the credit.

Sandy's card
I am continuing with the cards from the shoebox swap. This one was made by Sandy. She used the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Pad on page 23 of Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. It is #126857 for $10.95. Now I must confess, I have that pad, but have not used it. After making this card, I know I will be using that pad for a future card. Love how it shines. You cannot tell in this picture, but it is so sparkily (is that a word?).

Shoebox Swap Cont.
Here is another card from our Shoebox Swap. This was Colleen's card.
I had been wanting to try this technique that I have seen and alot of stampers are doing. You punch or die cut the design. Then you take a pencil and trace the design where it is going to be on your card. In this case, lower right hand side. Then you put the Jumbo Sticky Rounds (or red sticky tape) that we have for sale in the Holiday Catalog on Page 31 #127852 for $4.95. Place that sticky tape over the penciled image and apply your ribbon. Just remember to place the ribbon a little over the penciled image so that the ends do not show through the punch or die cut image. Place the punched or die image over that and viola you card above! Love it!

Don't Be Shocked!
Ok, like my title says....Don't be Shocked...I know it has been a looong while since I have posted! It's not that I am not making cards and projects. I just do not seem to have the time to keep up with this blog and do everything else. So, unfortunately my blog has been neglected. I keep thinking I will post today and then life gets in the way and I don't get it done. I cannot promise that I will post daily, but I will try to post more frequently. I can tell you that I will be posting over the next few days and I know that because I am working on it now. But with all my upcoming trips and business that I have to do, I may not be as diligent, but I will try.
I can say that I DO NOT like writing on my blog. So, I will try to post a few pictures with very little words. This post is long, but only cuz I have been away for so long.
Ok, so I get together with a group of demonstrators every other week and we do a shoebox swap. This is one of the cards from this swap. Lisa Freeman came up with this one. I will post the others at a later time. Working on that now. So hopefully I will have new post for the next few days!!
Thanks for hanging in there and checking out my blog!
Happy Stamping!
