Few cards from Leadership

I am going to post a few pictures of some cards and 3D items from Leadership.  I do not know who made them to give credit.  These were on boards or hanging and I liked them, so I took pictures of them.  Hope you enjoy them as well.

I will be posting more pictures over the next few days.  Hope you enjoy the posts!

Special Event while at Leadership

Thanks to Twila, a former Leadership roomie, Cheryl Adams and I were able to participate as audience fillers for the last taping of Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

It was such a fun and interesting night.  This last taping was for the Wounded Warriors.  They were able to give 10 homes away!  This show will be aired Dec 2012.

Here it was January and they were filming a Christmas show.  There was a Christmas Parade, Santa was there and there were even people with with Santa hats on.  The Riverwalk was decorated for Christmas for this night.  It was just really something to see.

We were also able to go to a special reception where Lee Greenwood performed "Proud to Be an American".

Roger Clemens donated some time to teach/play baseball with the highest bidder at the auction.

Ty Pennington was there filming his part.  The other cast were there, but did not film any during the time we were there.  This was all done on the Riverwalk.  We did not get to see the house, but we got to see all the Soldiers that will receive homes, except for the actual family that they were making the home for that week.

A night I will remember for a long time.  I was in tears as these service men and women rec'd their homes and were so humble.  Can't wait to see the acutal show in Dec.

FEW MORE PICTURES FROM LEADERSHIP

This year Stampin' Up! hung all their samples on a clothes line.  What a cute idea!  This was taken where we did Make-n-Takes.

Here is a close up of some of the samples that were hanging in the Make-N-Take room.

This was one of the tables that was set up for the Make-n-Takes.  We were given those beautiful sewn portfolios and homemade candy (made by a SU employee) in the cute little red box.  Love how SU add the little extras that make it so special!

Right in the middle of the room were the comfy couches w/handmade pillows that were accented with Stampin' Up! material.  They were so cute!

I was able to take pictures of the set up because I was a Make-n-Take Helper!!!  I was so excited and a little nervous, but it was so much fun!!

More pictures tomorrow!

Leadership

I started the year off right by attending Leadership in San Antonio, TX. It was fabulous and so much  to take in. There are going to be some changes and changes are always good!  I believe most of the changes and new information have been posted either on www.stampinup.com or facebook. I will address those changes at a later post.

This year right before any big announcements or giveaways, Stampin' Up! was right on it by twittering the information first. What a great idea. THEY were the ones that got the info out NOT the attendees. Brilliant!!

I won a stamp set from Prize Patrol.  It is P.S. I Love You!!  I was so excited!!  Stampin' Up! gave away so many products at this Leadership.  There were so many good things that came from this Leadership that I cannot begin to tell you them. But I will try on some other posts. Once again, Stampin' Up! out did themselves and we all appreciate it!!

Once again, I was able to attend Managers' Reception!!!  I would like to THANK all of my customers for their loyalty and friendship.  I would also like to THANK my Downline. Without them none of this would have been possible.  They are what keep me going.  So, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!  to ALL my customers and downline, you make this job so easy!!  You are all so wonderful!!

Lastly,  I would like to share with you this picture of my Upline, Colleen Magness and my sidelines Nikki Murphy and Pam Ticen.  We had a wonderful time together.  There were other Inky Angels that attended, but I never got a picture of all of us. We almost forgot to take a picture of the 4 of us!!   Thanks girls for a wonderful time and Nikki for being such a great easy going roommate!!

I plan to post more pictures soon!!

It's Been A Long Time

Wow!  Hard to believe my last post was in Oct.  I apologize for not blogging, but life just got in the way.

What I need to do is just move forward and not worry about what did not happen and just start making things happen again.  Like posting on my blog!!

So, I will try to be better and start posting a little more frequently.  I can't say every day or even every week, but I promise to be better and post more often.
