This was one of the cards that we made this month for our clubs. I found the tutorial on Jackie Topa's website. She has great directions on how to make this card using Stampin' Ups new diagonal score plate. Available now for only $11.95. Contact me if you would like to place an order.
I used Marina Mist and Riding Hood Red Cardstock. I also used the Bird Builder punch.
Happy Stamping!

Kathy Lay, one of my customers, made these cute little leprechaun table decorations. She was hired by a friend to decorate for a party. I think she did a great job!! Thanks for sharing Kathy!

Smash book
I received a smash book for my birthday several months ago. I love the idea of it. Very much like the way I use to scrap book back in the day. You know where you put eveything in it. Ticket stubs, dried flowers, some pictures, invitations, etc, etc.
Well I loved the one I got, but it was NOT Stampin' Up! So, I decided that I could make one that was made from Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.
While my downline and I were on our week retreat, I gave them my retired DSP and said create your own Smash Book. Here are 2 of the ones that were created. I took a few quick pictures, but you get the idea.
Of course you have to have the rubber band around it to keep all your stuff smashed into the book so it does not fall out! I made this with the elastic type headbands and cut DSP and cardstock using the Fun Flower Bigz L Dies from Sizzix that SU sales. Love, Love, Love how Patty's Smash Book turned out!!
This is some of the inside of the book. It is a masterpiece in progress. She has already done such a great job on it!!
This one is Toni's! She is so darn creative!! Just love it!! I'm not sure how they got theirs more complete than me, but they did an awesome job. Maybe it was because I was binding them and they were able to create? Hmmm or maybe it was just that they are just so much more creative than me!! Can it be??
This is the inside of Toni's Smash Book. She has more pockets and tabs on hers. Her creativity just flows!! My downline are simply AMAZING!!

Tea Bag Holder
I finally made one of these tea bag holders. I had been wanting to make one for awhile and finally did. I had a class on this and two other projects, which forced me to make one. I love it and it makes a great gift.
Here is a side view of the box. I found the tutorial on this blog.

Spring time Owl
I just love this little owl! I made him for Spring Time! I got the idea and tutorial from this website. I made mine just a bit smaller, but same idea. It fit the mini Kit Kat bars just perfect!!
Had my downline meeting tonight and this was one of the many doorprizes, but it was the only one I took a picture of. I hate when I do that. I make the prizes and forget to take the pictures!!

Girls Vacation
Sorry I have been MIA. Went away for a week with my peeps!! This was our second year to do this!! We had a week long stamping and scrapbooking venture! Tons of stamping, scrapping, talking, laughing, eating, drinking, staying up late, waking up late, and well just good old plain fun with my downline!!
Here are just a few of the pictures that I can share!
This is the resort we stayed at. There were a total of 6 of us that went. Some were able to stay the whole week and others for just a few days. Still we all had a great time and enjoyed our time together!
Our place. We had 4 bedrooms. It was 2 rooms right next to each other. One stayed nice and clean and this one was where it all went down!! I got this before picture, but did not take an after. Like after we started having fun with stamping! We had 3 tables and tons of stuff! It's ok...who needs pictures?? We will always remember this weekend! Maybe Toni has a few pictures she will share???
This was Anne's shirt! Perfect for our week!! We made many great memories and had such a good time!! Maybe that is why we did not take more pictures!
Or maybe this is why we did not take more pictures! Might have to delete this one...so look quick!!
First night!! Ok, so we did not do alot of stamping the first night. Everyone got there between 4pm-6pm. It was Friday night. We ate, drank and played Mexican Train. I was hooked (Thanks Toni!!)and I wanted to play til I won! Well ,or until Anne left cuz she had such low numbers. We all knew she was throwing her dominoes on the floor so she could win! LOL!!
We did make a project that night, but again, I did not even take a picture of it. It was a cute little punch art duck. It was an easy project for our first night. We will not talk about the rest of the weekend...I'll just say we had FUN!!
Early Monday morning we loaded up and left to DC to go to the Container Store, Ikea, and visit Darnell (one of my downline that had to move to DC) and then shop for hours at Hobby Lobby in Fredericksburg. Where's Toni??
There she is ...all the way in the back!!
This was the trunk BEFORE our shopping excursion.
Here's the group at a store in the DC area. Dottie, Pattie, Darnell, Toni, Sherry and Me!! Again, alot of fun and it was great to see Darnell and catch up. Just not enough time.
And this is what the trunk looked light when we got back!!
Not bad for 4 girls shopping all day. Our husbands would be so proud of us. We saved so much money!! HaHa!
Ok Girls, start saving your vacation time!! I'm thinking same time frame, same place next year!
