Happy Halloween!!

I totally cased Heather Pilz on this little candy holder.  Very cute idea!!  I changed the ears, hair and face a little, but it was all her idea.  I made these for swapping at Baltimore Regionals and gave as a Halloween treat at my Swap Meeting that I go to with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

Happy Halloween!!

Joy Class

I had a class on how to make this cute Joy Wall Hanging.  I used coasters and added the crumb cake cardstock to the coaster with Stampin' Up! glue stick.  I cut the letters out of Soft Suede from the Serif Essentials Alphabet bigz dies from Sizzix that Stampin' Up! sells.  I also used the Deck the Halls material, Jolly Bingo Bits and Jolly Old Saint Nick from the Holiday mini catalog.  I cased a card made by Lorrie Reid to make this.

Notepad Holder

This is the same pattern that I used for the Batty Notepad Holder.  I just changed the colors and design.  I made this for a birthday gift for a friend. I did not put the pattern out because it was a class that I gave and my customers paid money for the class and it would not be fair to give the pattern away for free, but there is one very similar on the same link that I gave below.  It just did not fit my notepad, so I changed it up.
This is the inside of the notebook holder.  I got the notepad from the Dollar Tree, but they were hard to find!!  I used the pattern for the pen holder from here.

Just Believe PrePay Class

I held a prepay class this past week.  We used the Just Believe stamp set from Stampin' Up!  IB&C.  These were the 3 cards that we made.  I cased all of them and just changed them the up a little.  Very little.  Added ribbon to one, changed ribbon on one, took ribbon away from one and added a sentiment to the the other.  Just little things, but I liked the way they turned out and my customers really liked them too!!

This one was my favorite and easiest to do.

Excuse the blurry pictures...I think my battery must be getting low.  I could not get a clear picture.   Anyway I thought this one was the most beautiful one.  I think this one was a case from Teneale WilliamsShe has some beautiful work on her blog.

This card was a combination of cards that I saw on Stampin' Connection.  I was trying to use most of the stamps in the set and not just stick to one stamp cuz I saw plenty of beautiful cards with the stamp in the first two cards, but I wanted to use more stamps from the set and we did!!

Christmas Card

My hostess clubs made this card for one of their projects this month.  It was totally cased from Michelle Zindorf...she used a brayer and I used sponges.  I'm taking her class in Feb and I will learn how to brayer these cards, but for now a sponge works.  I really like the effect and the girls liked learning how to do the reflection technique.

Little Bitty Halloween Treats

These cute little treats were CASED from Patti Lee at her CreationsbyPatti blog.  I used the petal card punch.  You have to punch 2 for each project to make the box.  For the mummy I punched one more and cut one petal out and then cut the strips to make the mummy looked wrapped. On the pumpkin I used the small oval punch and then just cut a stem from a scrap piece of paper and used a scrap piece of green paper and wrapped it around a toothpick to make the green vine.  A Hershey miniature candy fits perfect in the box.

Christmas Purse Bag

Again, I used one of Becky Robert's ideas.  Love her blog and all her projects!!

This is the purse bag using a paper bag.  I used the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper and 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon.

This is the side of the bag.

Santa Candy Holder

Here is a cute little candy holder made with the Candy Cane Designer Series Paper and Jolly Old St. Nick stamp set.  This was another one of our stamp camp projects.  The only problem was when I started planning there was no Christmas candy available.  So, inside is a piece of Halloween candy, but it worked and the girls were happy!

This is the inside of the Santa candy holder.  See the piece of halloween candy?  I started seeing Christmas candy at Walgreens this week.

Batty Notepad Holder

Another stamp camp project.  I saw a notepad holder on Becky Robert's blog and decided I would make one for Halloween. I used the owl punch to make the bat.  I also used DSP, 1 1/4"
stripped ribbon, antique brad and basic black and cajun craze cardstock.  I made the notepad holder to fit my pad.   Becky Roberts said she used the www.papertreyink.com pattern and I did too.  I only used the part for the pen and probably could of adjusted it to fit my pen better, but I liked the way it turned out, so I left well enough alone.

Here is another picture of the project with the front cover opened.

I bought the pads at the Dollar Tree and they only had them in blue and purple.  But when the cover is closed you can't tell what color it is.

Halloween Candy Cone

I had a stamp camp last night.  I said I was going to make 5 projects and kept finding cute things to do and so I made 9 projects for the price of 5.  This was the Halloween Candy Cone that we made.  I used the Halloween DSP that we have in the IB&C.  I made this using a piece of 6x6 DSP and cutting it on the diagonal.  Kimberly Van Diepen (is that spelling correct?)  has it posted on her blog.  I think she might have a tutorial.  Anyway, I added the spider from the Batty for You stamp set on to a scalloped circle punch.  Love this technique.  Then I added glitter to it.  I then used 1/4" strips of DSP to make little curly cues.

I also used Kimberly's ribbon technique on the top...where you use sticky strip and then kind of hand gather the ribbon.  It is way too cute.  You really need to head over to her site...I think it's www.stampinbythesea.comShe is in my sideline and I use her ideas all the time!!  I think she is very talented and was #1 Demonstrator of the Year!!  So, how can I go wrong casing her projects...right?

Well this little project was a lot of work, but I think it came out very cute!!  I also used our new waffle paper to put inside the cone (like tissue paper) and then added the candy.   Hope you enjoy it.  Here are a few more pictures of the project.

A close up of the spider on the accordion style thingy and the curly cues!!

Here is a close up of the ribbon and the waffle paper used as tissue with the candy inside.  I just love Babyruth bars.  Well I like almost any kind of candy, but if they have nuts and carmel and..well my mouth is watering just writing about it!!  hehehehe!!  Snickers, Hershey's w/almonds...well my list is long and my waist is thick!!  Ok. Enough.

I will post more projects from my stamp camp tomorrow!!

Spooky Candy Mini Paint Can

I decorated this cute little mini paint can with our designer paper and the Wicked Cool Stamp set.  I also used the new Decorative Label punch out of the mini catalog.  I put some candy corn inside of it and used the 1 1/4 inch striped ribbon.

I gave this away at my Stamp the Day Aweigh event a couple of weeks ago.

Mini Picture Frame

I made this little picture frame using the Hostess Level 2 set from the Holiday mini catalog.  I used Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon and the vintage wallpaper textured impressions embossing folders.  It's a great little gift.

Me with my Downline in Baltimore

This past weekend was the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Baltimore, MD.  What a fun time that we had.  Almost all my downline got to go.  I was only missing 2 people.  Wish they could of been there!!  We had a GREAT time.  Lots of nice projects, great swaps, plenty of stamping, and of course my great down line that went....could not have asked for a better weekend.

We went to Inner Harbor to eat on Friday night, and after Regionals we all went to Hobby Lobby on Saturday then we ate at TGIFriday's and that was good.  Sunday on our way back we decided to go by Charm City Cakes (you know, Ace of Cakes from Food Network).  Here I am in front of the store.

Afterwards we left to come back to Chesapeake, but we could not drive by Woodbridge without stopping by Ikea.  We made a stop there for about 2 hours bought plenty and then ate at Smokey Bones and headed home.  We really had a great fun girl weekend!!

Sorry I was not able to post for awhile.  I guess blogspot updated and I could not seem to get them to take my new password and well anyway, it took me a while to figure it all out being that I am NOT computer savvy.   I think I have it all figured out now and am hoping to have several posts over the next few days.

I went to Regionals in Baltimore and will have some pictures from that as well as some new projects I have been working on.

So stay tuned for some new posts!!

Tin Filled with Tags

I made this out of a tin that I have had for a while.  I decided to fill it with tags made from the Tags til Christmas stamp set #121169 in the Holiday mini catalog.  I used the 1/2" seam binding in Cherry Cobbler  #120992 on page 21.  It's very easy to make a bow with this seam binding.  Hope you like it.  I gave it away as a door prize at my Stamp the Day Aweigh stamping event.  Everyone that was there and signed up for my upcoming classes had a chance to win this.
